Flag for my Nation

The Free Land of Utaʼnar?hkhwaʼ-Vinland is in the middle of designing a new flag and believe we have settled on a design. problem is My Photoshop are not quite up to par for this.

The idea of the new flag is to show the former flags of Utaʼnar?hkhwaʼ and Vinland (see on my wiki page) in it and have a new symbol that represents the unity of the two nations. The idea is to have a shield with a two-colored tree on it. The crest will have 'guardians'. A Viking and  Native American holding their respective flags. I realize its a complicated design but any help in either suggestions or making a visual for the flag will be a great help.

I think this would be the best design for your flag.

The stripe represents Vinland, while the Blue, white, red tricolor represents Utanarakhwa.

The two circles would be a good place to put the emblems of the nations. The top is Utanarakhwa's while the bottom is Vinland's.
